Founded in 1954, EIB Paris is a French school firmly rooted in a long-standing international and secular approach. Each year EIB Paris welcomes to it its five Paris-based sites more than 2400 students; this diverse student body is composed of individuals from more than 50 different nationalities.

The school’s educational philosophy marries academic excellence in the best of French tradition with an education centered around the facilitation of interpersonal exchange and communication, leading to a broadening of horizons through an open-minded approach to others.

From its earliest days, the school has defined and put into practice innovative and effective techniques of language acquisition. At EIB Paris learning to speak another language has always been viewed as a way of opening up to other identities, to other cultures, and to other ways of thinking. Our school has always been a place were a multi-lingual education becomes the daily practice by which students grow and mature into individuals who respect diversity and thrive in it.

EIB Paris offers a personalized environment where all through a child’s education, methods of language acquisition are determined by competence level and structured into groups. Our professional teaching staff is deeply committed to the success of each child, and the school guarantees every student the opportunity to be heard and to take initiatives. This unique style of student-teacher relationship includes involving the families in the school activities, thereby strengthening the multi-cultural nature of the greater EIB Paris community.

EIB Paris provides an international education to all of its students, regardless of the specific academic program selected. Our five different Paris sites allow students to chose from a variety of courses of study: The French system, under associative-contract with the French state (leading to the French Baccalaureate), the British system, the American system, or the IB Program (International Baccalaureate). Our schools have several accreditations, such as the Cambridge, IB World Schools, the Council of International Schools, the College Board, UNESCO, and ECIS.

Thanks to EIB Paris’s multi-cultural setting, our school nurtures the intellectual development of our students, while ensuring throughout their schooling that they develop a love of learning, discovery, and exploration of knowledge.

In parallel with academic work, our students are offered numerous extra-curricular, cultural, and athletic activities, thus enabling children to enhance their team spirit and to express their talents in a spontaneous and natural fashion.

Beyond the excellent academic results obtained by alumni both in France and abroad, EIB Paris's international approach strives to provide students with an intellectual and humanist education that will make of them men and women better prepared to take on the challenges of a world in constant evolution. This of course also means that they are well prepared to pursue degrees in higher education in countless numbers of universities throughout the world. Many of EIB Paris’s alumni have been accepted to prestigious universities around the world, including Harvard, Columbia, Cambridge, Oxford, McGill, and Polytechnique, to name only a few.
